La Société des Nouveaux commanditaires, supported by the Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso and Bourges 2028, European Capital of Culture, is launching a Call for Projects in Centre-Val de Loire, aimed at residents of the region.

This initiative in Centre-Val de Loire seeks to strengthen residents’ capacity to act through artistic creation, by supporting collective projects rooted in the local area. It is part of the lead-up to Bourges 2028, European Capital of Culture.

Who? Any group of citizens—association members, school or hospital staff, local authorities, companies, students, residents, etc.—motivated by a project serving the public interest in their area.What? Commissioning, with the support of a mediator and an artist, an original work responding to a collective need.Where? Across the Centre-Val de Loire region.When? Applications open from 30 June to 15 October 2025.How? Through the New Patrons programme, which provides full support—from defining the commission to producing the artwork and securing its funding.Why? To highlight citizen-led initiatives through artistic creation, involve residents in transforming their territory, and support artists’ work.How to apply?
